Purpose of the Program
To teach the rules of electrical installation, installation and selection of equipment for employees who will carry out Ex installation project activities, to reinforce them with applications, to provide the necessary technical information.

ATEX directives, legislation and obligations, dynamics of explosions, understanding of hazards
Detailed information on the general principles of explosion protection
Selection criteria of equipment to be used in explosive atmospheres
Detailed information on the general principles of Ex equipment marking types
Practical information for the definition and application of protection concepts
Detailed information on mounting methods of equipment design affecting the protection concept of Ex equipment
Design and selection criteria for “d” type protection, “e” type protection “i” type protection, “p” type protection, “o” type protection, “m” type protection, “n” type protection, other protection types
Non-electrical equipment “h” type protection, “c” type protection, “b” type protection, “k” type protection
Detailed information about the content of the certificates and the sections related to the standard
Ex - rules for the design, selection and installation of electrical installations, i, e, d, calculation and selection of glands
Detailed information on working systems and additional importance of clearance for safe isolation with respect to explosion protection
Detailed information on the specific techniques to be used in the selection and installation of equipment referred to in the standard
Information on inspection and maintenance requirements of Ex equipment
Project design and assembly application with each participant (application is made on the 3rd and 4th days)

After the training, the participants who are successful by making theoretical and applied measurement-evaluation "Ex Installation Project Design Training" success certificate "IEC 60079-14 / A.2.3 Designers (design and selection)" are issued.
Program Output
It will be ensured that Ex equipment is selected according to the class of the relevant dangerous zone (Zone 0, Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 20, Zone 21, Zone 22), designing the electrical installation suitable for the protection type, choosing the equipment, and teaching the first installation inspection rules.
Who Can Participate in the Program
Engineers/technical personnel who will carry out project design activities in electrical installations in explosive atmospheres may be included in the program. There are no prerequisites for participation in the program.
